By accessing or using DealQ (the “Service”), operated by DealQ Ltd. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“User,” “you”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, process, store, and share your data, including in connection with third-party AI providers and product improvement.
1. Early Access and Product Testing
DealQ is at an early, pre-revenue stage and is made available for evaluation and product testing. Access may be offered free of charge. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. During this period it may contain errors, change without notice, be interrupted, lose data, or be discontinued, and features may be added, modified, or removed at any time. We make no guarantee of availability, uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. By taking part you understand that you are helping us test and improve an early product, and you agree to give us reasonable feedback when we ask for it.
2. Nature of the Service
DealQ is an AI-assisted negotiation preparation and coaching tool. It works by sending User-provided inputs, including typed text, uploaded documents, attachments, meeting transcripts, and related context (together, “User Content”), to third-party large language model and infrastructure providers (“Third-Party AI Providers”) in order to generate preparation guidance and live coaching. A current list of these providers is maintained in our Privacy Policy.
3. No Professional Advice and No Reliance
DealQ helps you prepare for and run negotiations, but it is a software tool, not an advisor. Its outputs are generated by AI and:
(a) are probabilistic and may be incomplete, out of date, wrong, or fabricated;
(b) do not constitute legal, financial, tax, accounting, investment, or other professional advice; and
(c) create no attorney-client, fiduciary, broker, or advisor relationship of any kind between you and DealQ Ltd.
You are solely responsible for every decision you make and every action you take in a negotiation. Any use you make of an output is at your own risk. You should consult an appropriately qualified professional before relying on any output in a matter of consequence.
4. Recording, Transcripts, and Consent
Where you use the meeting, voice, or transcription features, DealQ produces a written transcript of the conversation in order to power coaching. You are solely responsible for complying with all laws that apply to recording or transcribing a conversation, including obtaining any consent required from other participants in your jurisdiction. You confirm that you have all rights and consents needed for any conversation you capture through the Service.
At present, we retain the audio recording of your sessions together with the transcript. If you ask us to delete the audio recording, we will delete it within 72 hours of your request. You can make this request by emailing manuel@dealq.io.
5. How We Use Your Content to Improve the Service
To operate, evaluate, and improve DealQ, we may use meeting transcripts and the coaching tips and outputs generated during your sessions to test, train, and improve our models, prompts, and product. Before using transcript data for this purpose we apply commercially reasonable steps to reduce direct identifiers such as names, email addresses, and organization names.
We do not use the documents, files, or spreadsheets you upload, or the text you type into input fields, to train models. You may ask us to exclude your transcript data from training at any time by emailing manuel@dealq.io. Connected Account Data — anything we receive from a third-party sign-in or integration provider, such as Google Calendar or Sign in with Google — is never used for this purpose; see Section 3 of our Privacy Policy. 6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with User Content that you have the right to submit. You will not use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of any third party.
7. Limitation of Liability
You use the Service at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DealQ Ltd. and the people who operate it accept no liability to you and will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive, including any loss of profits, revenue, deals, savings, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, or your reliance on any output, even if we were told such loss was possible.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
8. Third-Party Authentication and Integrations
The Service may offer third-party sign-in options, such as Sign in with Google, to create or access your account, and optional integrations such as Google Calendar connect. When you use one of these options, the provider acts independently under its own terms and privacy policy. How we handle the data we receive from such providers, and the limits on its use, are described in Section 3 of our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Cookies
Our use of cookies and similar browser-storage technologies is described in our Cookie Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you where you live.
