Practise the negotiation before it counts
Rehearse by voice against an AI counterpart briefed on this deal, get scored on anchoring and concession pace, then walk in having already said the hard number once.

What it does
How it works on a real deal
An opponent briefed on your deal
Not a generic buyer persona. It knows the issues, the packages and the floor you set, and pushes back the way this buyer will.
Scored where it matters
Anchoring, concession pace, and what you gave away first — measured against your plan, not a rubric.
Rounds and replay
Run the same conversation again with a different opening and compare. The second round is where the habit changes.
FAQ
Questions people ask
Is it voice or text?
Voice. Saying the number out loud is the hard part, and the counterpart interrupts and pushes back the way a real one does.
Does the counterpart know my deal?
Yes: the issues you listed, the packages you built and the floor you set. That is what separates it from a generic sales roleplay.
Can my manager see my scores?
Only if you share the session. Practice is yours by default, because a rehearsal you are being marked on is a performance, not a rehearsal.
Is this a negotiation course?
No. A course teaches the method in the abstract; this rehearses the conversation you are having on Thursday.
